Membership Matters

Being a member is your way of declaring, "I’m committed to FBC Ashland City.” In turn, membership allows our church leaders to express their commitment to lead you, love you, and look after you as ones who will have to give an account to God for their leadership (Heb. 13:17).

Why Commit?

Church membership is a biblical expression of commitment where believers publicly identify as part of Christ's body in a specific local gathering of believers. When you become a member at FBCAC, you:

  • Proclaim your unity with fellow believers in Christ.

  • Commit to a gospel partnership that declares and advances God's kingdom.

  • Place yourself under the spiritual care of our church leadership.

  • Enter a covenant relationship where we mutually support, encourage, and hold one another accountable.

  • Engage in ministry work alongside brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • Strengthen the testimony of Christ in our community through our collective witness.

Our Membership Process

  1. The first step in becoming a member at FBCAC is to fill out our church membership form (see below).

  2. Meet with our pastor for a personal conversation about your relationship with Christ, your understanding of the gospel, and your desire to commit yourself to our church family.

  3. Be welcomed into membership during a Sunday service, where the congregation will affirm their commitment to you and you to them.

If you would like to know more about becoming a member or if you are interested in joining our church, please fill out the form below, and Pastor Stephen will reach out to you soon.
